Just need a friend m4w Well I’m 22, and just got told by the girl I was planning on marrying that she wants to it quits. I am a firm believer on that there’s many people out there and that I will find someone else. But unfortunately my story of life isn’t that simple. See I got let go from my old job and been looking for jobs that I can raise a family on. Well I found one that will do all those things and I started doing everything I can to get that job. The only bad thing is it means I have to sacrifice 4 years of my life or more and serve my country, and go into the Air Force. I have no problem in doing this and actually look forward to it. It just hurts knowing that I had made all these plans for me and her. I found out and started arranging for me to get an allowance to pay for our home and find a base that I and she could both be successful at.
So now that I’m single I realized how much impact she has had into my life for the past year and a half. I know it’s not massively long in time but it made me realize that she was my shoulder my everything. I could rely on seeing her every few days and spending that time together or being able to talk on the and vent. I do have a few friends but I never built that bond with any of them to where I could just cry on there shoulder. I have that bond with one friend and he’s deployed in Japan.
I am looking for someone, anyone, who is willing to get to know me. Someone who will help me reach my goals. Someone who is willing to be there for me. But of course someone I can have fun with and be able to go out and just have a good time. And of course I will do the same
