I am.... witty, smart, non-judgmental, passionate, committed, laid-back, responsible, tolerant, lazy at times, hard worker at times, funny, romantic, a good listener, passionate, and all 'round swell guy.
I'm usually reserved around new people I don't know or who I'm not comfortable with yet. Once I get to know you though, I'm totally the opposite. Then I'm funny, confident, center of attention, etc. I try to straddle the divide between big ego and saint-like humility (don't ask me how I pull it off). I have a very dry wit, and it takes me a bit to release the full glory of my humor powers. So don't be too disappointed if it doesn't shine through on a first date. I'm a deep thinker, but not an intellectual snob. I like to think of myself as versatile and not easily pigeonholed into any category. As comfortable in a philosophy discussion group as at a football game. I'm very sensitive to the needs of others (and I'm an amazing listener (and modest too)), but I'm no metrosexual. I'm very loyal and a good friend (just got asked to be Best Man in a wedding for the fourth time).
I run a small, national non-profit in the area, pay is really crappy (at the moment at least) but I care passionately about what I do. Overall though I admit I am a bit of a homebody. I don't really do clubs, or bars, or dancing. So mostly hanging around here on the computer or playing video games, or hanging out with friends. Screwing around and getting in trouble back in my high school was far more entertaining than the life of a twenty-something. Ah... the good ol' days...

I listen to all kinds of music from classical to classic rock, from rap to country to indie. But I suppose when people ask this question they want less to know about what music someone enjoys listening to but what clique or genre they best fit into. So while I have immensely diverse musical tastes, I'd have to assign myself to the metal genre for those who are interested.
