Flannel Shirt
The first snow of winter prompts me to pull my flannel shirt from the closet. Kind of a relief to wear something simple after dressing with such attention to detail for work all week. It's perfect for cold winter afternoons and it's soft and comfy feel make it great for snuggling in with a good book or a movie. It has a big pocket where I'll probably find bits of paper with my "to do" list and notes on various events around town as well as book, movie, music, and restaurant reviews from its last wearing.. If someone stops by for a visit, it's certainly acceptable to be seen in and, in fact, makes me ready for a hike or movie run. Looking for another flannel shirt.
